Goal: Getting them to use our managed IT services to upgrade to a new server
Subject: End of Support for Windows Server 2008 is approaching, it’s time to modernize with HPE Gen10
Hi [insert first name],
One of Microsoft’s most popular offerings is Windows Server® 2008 and a large percentage of Microsoft’s installed base is still running on the server. But, with cybersecurity, cloud computing, composability and container technology growing more important, the Windows Server 2008 is no longer suited for the current era. On January 14, 2020, Microsoft will end support for Windows Server 2008. It is now time to upgrade to a modernized server, HPE Gen10.
Forward thinking customers are choosing to do this upgrade 3-6 months prior to the end date to avoid any disruption to their business. Avoiding this upgrade will open your organization to security threats as running this server on a legacy server will be much more vulnerable to cybercrimes.
I’ve attached a Solution Brief from Vology and HPE to learn more about this change and how not upgrading now can end in rising IT costs, security vulnerability and hinder growth.
If you'd like to discuss this further, reply to this email. I’ll also reach out in a few days to see how I can help.
Thanks!
